As someone who is both Austrian and Chinese, I often find it challenging to answer questions like, "Do you think you are more Chinese or Austrian?" or "Where do you think you come from?" These questions don’t have a straightforward answer for me, as my identity is a blend of both cultures. Each side contributes uniquely to who I am, and neither feels more dominant or definitive than the other. To express this complexity, I created this abstract painting called "East Meets West" that intertwines Austrian and Chinese elements for me uniquely. This artwork would represent the fluidity and harmony of my inner identity, blending cultural motifs, colors, and textures from both worlds to convey the depth and duality of my heritage.
